ABOUT US
Christ the Redeemer is an American Coptic Orthodox Church in Lakewood, CA that aims to bring both ancient tradition and modern messaging into one experience.
We aim to help people re-organize life around three simple goals:
- To know Christ
- To become like Jesus
- To be guided by the Holy Spirit
To live like this goes beyond anything that happens on a Sunday. Rather, we teach a way of life that offers joy, resilience and hope in the midst of a modern, chaotic world. Through teaching, practice and community, we can rediscover our own humanity and learn what it means to be spiritual while living in a physical world.
SUNDAY MORNING LITURGY
Sunday Liturgy is the primary way we gather as a church to pray together, learn the Scriptures, and pray for one another.
Each Sunday we gather at 6440 Del Amo Blvd in Lakewood, CA. Parking is limited but street parking is available throughout the neighborhood.
